Let us face it, 2020 has been a straight-up awful year, and none of us enjoyed it. Remember when we thought that a potential world war three was going to be the highlight of our problems? Or when the Australian wildfires were the biggest thing on the news (which, to be fair, it definitely deserved to be). All of that seems like a distant memory now. COVID-19 started in China, and initially, we were told not to worry. We were told that it was unlikely that it would even hit us. We were told wrong.
By March, just over three months after the virus was discovered, it had circled the globe and put everyone indoors. Events were canceled, stores closed, and before long, people could not even go out for coffee without it being a huge risk. Everything that had been safe was dangerous. This pattern continued for the course of the year and has spread into 2021.
It is safe to say that we are over 2020. It has brought us nothing but pain and misery, and we just want everything to be over.

Now we can all relate to that!

Beyonce recently had an interview with British Vouge, and during it she talked about how 2020 went for her. “It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed.” She spoke. “I have learned that my voice is clearer when I am still. I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life.”
She went on to add that she has done some amazing things and now she can focus on her joy.
