Get a Good Kick in The Pants From These Life Lessons

Sometimes we all need a swift kick in the pants. Life isn’t always what we want it to be, and sometimes you’ve got to take the bull by the horns. That’s just how it is, and there’s nothing you can do to change it. You can wither on the vine or come out on the other side stronger than you were to begin with. Those are your two choices, and there is rarely any middle ground. Get used to it. Life is far more black and white than what you want to realize.

You’ll get through even the worst day of your life

Think back to what was the very worst day of your life. Seriously, go back there in your mind and think about how awful it was. Guess what, you’re still alive. You’re here and reading this right now. That means you got through the worst day that you’ve ever experienced. Sure, it sucked, but you were able to get through it. The fact that you were able to pull through and move on should tell you everything you need to know about how strong you are on the inside.

Drink plenty of water for your immune system

How is drinking plenty of water a life lesson? Consider the world that we live in right now. There’s a pandemic going on, and things don’t seem like they’re going to get any better any time soon. Being adequately hydrated is vital to your health. Being constantly dehydrated is bad news for your immune system. Always have a glass or bottle of water within reach. You should drink at least several liters of water every day. Yes, it must be water. Drink plenty of water, and you’ll notice that your health and vitality will become stronger.

There is no such thing as good debt

Good debt doesn’t exist. The only type of debt that might be considered good is school loans. Beyond going in debt for college, there is no other type of debt that’s accepted. Try your best to pay your bills on time. Not being in debt means you have to live within your budget. It’s not as hard as you think it is. If you build up your wealth in the beginning, it won’t be long before you can buy the things you want. The nice things can wait until you have a nice nest egg, and then you can buy all those toys you’re dreaming about.

Celebrate all of your accomplishments big and small

You might think that celebrating only your big accomplishments makes sense. Why should you overlook your small accomplishments? The thing you must understand more than anything is that you need to celebrate everything that you accomplish. If you only pat yourself on the back for the big things that you do, you’ll end up feeling underwhelmed about your progress. Instead, try your very best to celebrate every achievement and make the most out of your success.

Always be cautious when life looks too easy

If things around you seem way too easy, there’s something wrong—Challenge yourself at all costs to make sure that you’re always on your toes. If you at any time feel as if you’re not being challenged enough, then do something about it. People tend to get lazy when things are too easy. Keep yourself in check by always setting the bar higher so that your achievements are like steps up a pyramid. If you’re not building pyramids, then eventually you’re going to flatline and then go straight down to the bottom.
